The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was created in 2010 as an independent agency tasked with implementing and enforcing Federal consumer financial law and ensuring that markets for consumer financial products are fair, transparent, and competitive.
About CFPB Alumni Association
The CFPB Alumni Association formed in 2023. Intended as a way for former colleagues to maintain ties, the Association holds events such as discussions on financial topics, as well as charitable and educational gatherings focused on the multi-faceted world of consumer financial products and services.
