The compensation range for this role will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and DR Bank's internal leveling guidelines and benchmarks. The maximum compensation for this role is up to $95,000 USD.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Compliance Risk Analyst’s role is to assess compliance risk in the execution of the Bank’s growth initiatives. The Compliance Risk Analyst will coordinate with departments across the Bank and with third party fintech partners to complete compliance testing on CT state and Federal banking laws and regulations. The Compliance Risk Analyst is responsible for building relationships with fintech clients, completing risk assessments, performing enhanced due diligence, completing monitoring and testing, and writing and presenting reports to support results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Duties which are critical/central to accomplishing the purpose of the job. List job duties in order of importance.):
Describe what must be accomplished.
• Build an understanding of federal and state laws and regulations
• Assess new business opportunities for compliance with federal and state laws and regulations
• Execute compliance risk assessment criteria
• Perform due diligence reviews of new bank partners and clients
• Write executive summaries of results and findings from review
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and review of high-risk bank partners and clients
• Establishes relationships with Bank management and banking partners/clients
• Coordinates with Bank management and banking partners/clients on an as-needed basis to resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Improves and documents processes wherever appropriate.
• Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.
